Longtime New York Jets and Buffalo Bills head coach Rex Ryan will make his broadcasting debut during ESPN’s coverage of FSU’s annual Garnet and Gold spring game on Saturday. The game is scheduled to air at 3 p.m. ET on ESPN.

Ryan recently joined ESPN as an analyst and will join the Sunday NFL Countdown crew in September. Ryan will also make appearances on Sportscenter, ESPN Radio, and a variety of other ESPN platforms (via ESPN).

Three areas of concern FSU must address this spring

While coaching in the NFL, Ryan was known for his outspoken attitude and colorful interviews. He coached the New York Jets to back-to-back AFC Championship Game appearances before being fired in 2014. He coached the Buffalo Bills for two seasons before being “relieved of his duties” at the conclusion of the 2016 season.

While in Buffalo, Ryan coached former FSU standouts Karlos Williams, Nick O’Leary, Ronald Darby, and EJ Manuel. He finishes his NFL coaching career with a 61-66 record (via SportReference).
