The Cats gain momentum against Louisville before weekend series with LSU

The #13 Cats with the upset against #2 Louisville last night as they try to build off the win with a bang against #8 LSU this weekend.

Rain or shine the #13 Cats will be out in full force this weekend as they continue on with SEC play against #8 LSU. With the huge win against #2 Louisville, the Cats will try to build off a victorious Tuesday night as they go up against another top ten team at Cliff Hagan Stadium.

With it being the first time this season the Tigers will face the Cats, this SEC series will be a must-see as UK try’s to hold on to their number one ranking in the SEC east.

While, the Tigers seek ground in Lexington this weekend as they are in fourth in the SEC west behind Arkansas, Auburn and Mississippi State.

With both teams in the top 15 in the country, the bats will be up swinging the whole weekend.

The last time the Tigers and Cats were matched up together was shockingly in 2013 at Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge, LA as the #2 LSU Tigers won against the #7 Wildcats with a score of 11-4.

Now, both teams with almost a month left till the SEC Baseball Championships, winning is all that matters. With different faces on both sides of the spectrum, the Cats and the Tigers are seeking blood in Lexington.
