Jarrad Davis will be back in 2016 to lead the Gator defense that will hope to carry Florida back to the SEC Championship. Davis racked up 98 tackles a season ago, including 11 for loss and 3.5 sacks, and will look to improve on those numbers with a larger role in the Gator defense. Although key starters Antonio Morrison, Keanu Neal, Jonathan Bullard, and Vernon Hargreaves III will need to be replaced, Coach Jim McElwain’s defense will need to be as stout as ever with even more questions emerging on the offensive side of the ball for the Gators. Davis is one of three Florida defenders to make our list, and all three will be vital to the Gators’ success in 2016.
